Core Academic Programs
Each student at Chaboya will receive instruction in core academic subjects each year in accordance with the curriculum devised by the State of California. These subjects include:
- Language Arts
- Math
- Physical Education
- Science
- Social Studies
Electives
Every semester, each child will have an elective to augment their core learning. Some electives that your child might choose from include:
- Animal Lore
- Art
- Band
- Computer Tech
- Drama
- Leadership
- Life Skills
- Yearbook
Honors Courses
In each grade, some courses are designated honors courses. Placement into these courses is done based on testing from the prior year and is automatic.
