SAFE Drop Off and Pick Up

Parents in the neighborhood surrounding Chaboya have reported near misses, in terms of accidents. Montecito Drive, at the rear of the school has been specifically troubling. Cars are abruptly stopping when clearly visible signs state No Stopping At Any Time; individuals are not using their signal lights to indicate to fellow drivers they are turning. PLEASE ADHIERE TO THE RULES OF THE ROAD. This will help avoid accidents and keep everyone safe. Thank you.

Principal's Message

Welcome Chaboya Middle School parents, students and community members.  My main goal for Chaboya Middle School is to ensure we all work together to provide a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment that puts students first. We value the diversity of our students, and believe everyone should be valued for their unique gifts and we strive to offer every student the opportunity to reach their potential through a rigorous curriculum. I look forward to personally meeting you, as together, we build an amazing environment for our kids.

The Chaboya Challenge is On!

The PTSA annual pledge drive is underway! THANK YOU to all the parents who have recently contributed to the pledge drive. We still need YOUR HELP to reach the annual funding goal of $106,000. We would like to CHABOYA CHALLENGE all the families to work together to fill the holes left by state budget cuts to ensure that our children have a quality education. If each family contributes $90 per child (with the student enrollment at over 1,000), we could meet our funding goal. If we don’t meet our goal, students are at risk of losing critical programs. Drop Off & Pick Up Safety

At Chaboya, we have nearly 1200 students on campus. To minimize your frustration due to traffic congestion, late arrivals, and accidents, we recommend the following:

Alternative drop off & pick up locations:

 * (North of Chaboya) Drop off & pick up at Fowler park, which is Michelangelo Drive

 or

 * (East of Chaboya) Drop off & pick up on Verona Rd., near Montecito

 or

 * (South of Chaboya) Drop off & pick up on Capriana Circle

 and

 * If you live within walking distance of Chaboya, have your child walk to campus.

Time:

Drop off students no later than 7:20 AM
Wait until 2:00 PM to pick up students.

Safety:
It’s our goal to get your students to and from school. Please be great role models to your children by exercising patience and adhering to all driving rules/laws.

  • Be courteous to other drivers
